Started the Christmas break with a weekend in München, visiting a couple of Matt's friends. Also the last chance to enjoy the German Christmas markets and drink some Glühwein. München is one of the places in Germany that I actually remember from my previous trips but it's always a bit overwhelming to be in cities with a population bigger than my whole country's. Nevertheless, the trip was a lot of fun and visiting München again is definately on my list. Not much to say in addition to the pile of photos below. The first one is from friday morning when we got to enjoy an amazing view of the sun rising over the Alps from the ferry to Meersburg.

I hope all of you have happy holidays among friends or family! Our plans for a Christmas eve in Konstanz are also shaping up. I'm pretty excited to see what happens when a bunch of kids from Europe, America and even India decide to celebrate Christmas together.
